How does the process work?

The application process for obtaining a Sponsor Licence consists mainly of the four stages:

1. Conducting Resident Labour Market Test (RLMT).
Your business shall identify the specific job you want to fill with a skilled worker and ensure that the chosen skilled worker will not displace a settled UK or EU national. The job has to be advertised for a minimum period of 28 days. There are circumstances where you may be exempt from conducting RLMT.

2.Applying and obtaining a Sponsor Licence.
We will make you application by advising you on the appropriate supporting documents, completing all necessary forms and representations.

3. Issuing Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
Once the application for Sponsor Licence has been approved, you may now apply for a 'restricted' or 'unrestricted' CoS and then assign it to the employee.

4. Employing a skilled worker on Tier 2 visa.
We offer you our assistance in drafting the employment contract for the skilled worker to make sure it complies with Home Office's requirements.

We understand the whole process may seem daunting and complex, but we aim to make it as easy and approachable for you as possible. Our experts in both immigration and employment law will be ready to assist you at any time of the process.
