Immigration Health Surcharge WILL BE Increased

The decision to double the Immigration Health Surcharge has been approved by the House of Commons on 21 November and by the House of Lords on 28 November. Once it is signed by the Immigration Minister the IHS will double after 21 days of signing.
Anyone in the UK on a work, study or family visa for longer than 6 months can access NHS services in the same way as UK citizens if the IHS is paid. The IHS will increase from £200 to £400 per year for non-EU nationals. Students and those on the Youth Mobility Scheme will have a discounted rate of £300 per year.
Clients who wish to submit their applications before the increase takes place are still afforded some time to do so and we encourage them where eligible to make an application as soon as possible.
