Changes to BN(O) Visa: Adult Dependants Can Apply Separately

💡 On April 4, 2024, changes to the Hong Kong BN(O) Visa for Adult Dependant Relatives took effect. Previously, applicants had to apply simultaneously with their BN(O) Status holder Sponsor.
🕓 Now, they can apply at different times if the Sponsor has already applied or has permission as a BN(O) Status Holder, dependant partner, or household member. Additionally, the Sponsor can be both a British citizen and a BN(O) Status Holder.
✔️ These changes aim to allow Adult Dependant Relatives to join the main applicant later if circumstances change. The Home Office is reviewing the guidance for these applications.
