Sponsor Licence Application: Document Requirements

📋 When applying for a Sponsor Licence, gathering the necessary documents to support your application is important. The specific documents required may vary depending on the type of licence you are applying for; however, there are generally four mandatory documents that need to be submitted:
✅ Latest business bank statement: This proves your company's financial standing.
✅ Employer's liability insurance: You must have a policy with a minimum coverage of £5 million from an authorised insurer.
✅ Certificate of VAT registration: This document confirms that your business is registered for Value Added Tax.
✅ Evidence of registration as an employer with HMRC: This includes your PAYE (Pay As You Earn) and Accounts Office Reference Number.
🔗 Additional documents may also be required, such as proof of ownership or lease of business premises, the latest audited or unaudited accounts (audited accounts are mandatory in some instances), and evidence of registration with regulatory bodies if applicable.
