💔 This was the dilemma our client faced. Expecting a joyful event and full of faith in her future, she signed a contract that would leave her with nothing in the event of a divorce.
👊 The house, everything acquired by the husband before marriage or jointly during the marriage—all of it would remain with him. English law typically renders such documents nearly unassailable, but we decided to challenge this stereotype.
🎯 Our goal was to prove the injustice of the contract, to create an evidentiary basis demonstrating that it violated principles of fairness. And we succeeded. Thanks to the work of our consultant, Stella Marat, we convinced the court that the contract was fundamentally unjust and contrary to our client's interests.
💯 As a result, we achieved an outcome that surpassed all expectations. Our client received fair compensation, enabling her to acquire a separate property and independently provide for herself and her child.
