1. Sponsorship Update: Companies House Number Integration in SMS
You can now provide your organisation's Companies House reference number (CHN) in SMS. Including your CHN contributes to the transition to the new sponsorship system.
✅ Sponsors registered with Companies House can easily update their CHN through the SMS. We strongly recommend adding your CHN promptly.

2. MAC Report 2023: Shortage Occupation List
The Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) has released its 2023 report on the shortage occupation list, suggesting the inclusion of eight occupations. These include:
🧬 Laboratory technicians
🧪 Pharmaceutical technicians
🧱 Bricklayers
🏡 Roofers
🏗️ Construction and building trades (specifically "retrofitters") / Construction and building trades not elsewhere classified – all jobs
🐾 Various animal care services positions
🤲 Care workers
Two occupations are recommended for the Scotland-only list:
🌲 Managers and proprietors in forestry and fishing
⚓Boat and shipbuilders and repairers
