King’s Speech Highlights: New Measures for Border Security

👑 The recent King’s Speech revealed the Government's plan to introduce the Border Security, Asylum, and Immigration Bill, aiming to tackle small boat crossings.
The Bill will strengthen border security with a new Border Security Command and harsher penalties for organised immigration crime.
It promises to modernise the asylum system, end the use of hotels by asylum seekers, and clear the backlog of 95,000 claims.
❌ The Government will halt the Rwanda scheme and implement fast-track returns for applicants from safe countries.
