UK Imposes New Visa Requirement on Jordanian Nationals

📢 On 10 September 2024, the UK Home Office introduced a new visa requirement for all Jordanian nationals visiting or transiting the UK. This includes the need for a direct airside transit visa for those passing through the UK en route to other countries. Nationals of Jordan will no longer be eligible to use the UK’s Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). A four-week visa-free grace period applies to those holding an ETA and confirmed bookings made before 10 September 2024, provided they arrive by 8 October 2024.
🚨 The change aims to strengthen security and assess visa applicants more rigorously.
