Pre-Settled Status Extended Automatically: What Next?

🕒 Recently, we received an email from UKVI confirming the automatic extension of a pre-settled status for 5 years. It’s the first time we’ve seen this happen, and it’s exciting to witness the system in action. However, we advise caution.
While the extension is a welcome update, relying solely on an automatic process and waiting until your status expires isn't ideal. Instead, it’s far more beneficial to secure settled status, which may allow you to apply for British citizenship (subject to meeting the necessary requirements).
