UK Implements Stricter Measures for Defined Certificate of Sponsorship
Thursday 31st October 2024
🇬🇧 The UK has introduced stricter measures for employers applying for Defined Certificates of Sponsorship (DCoS) under the Skilled Worker route.
If the application is from outside the UK, employers must obtain a DCoS to sponsor a foreign worker for a visa.
Recent reports indicate increased scrutiny by the Home Office, resulting in longer processing times.
Employers must now submit detailed information and extensive supporting documentation, including job descriptions and organisational charts.
These changes aim to ensure compliance and reduce reliance on international recruitment.
